The place where dairy industry, academic, and regulatory professionals gather together to collaborate on dairy food safety best practices and expand their network of dairy industry expertise through participation in technical education sessions, task force working sessions, vendor visits, conference educational workshops, and conference tour offerings.

 2026 Pre-Conference Workshops - Tuesday Nov. 3rd

Electronic / Paperless Data Recording - 2 focused sessions

- Farm & Raw Milk Transportation - Tuesday Afternoon

These workshops will explore the “what, why, and how” of electronic / paperless data recording.  Regulatory requirements will be discussed by FDA and State Regulatory personnel.  Vendors will demonstrate technology and be available throughout the conference for in depth discussions.

Preventive Maintenance Best Practices for PUMPS!

- Presented by Nelson-Jameson - Tuesday Afternoon

    The Dairy Practices Council is pleased to partner once again with Nelson-Jameson to present this workshop.  This year the focus will be on pumps utilized in dairy processing facilties.  Other topics will be addressed as time allows, and Q&A will be encouraged.

Wednesday Morning Pre-Conference Agricultural Tour

Enjoy a tour of a real, working Texas cattle ranch. Owner Chuck Knibbe or other family members will take guests on a full tour to include:

• F-1 Tiger Stripe cattle. Hear and see how a real Texas ranch operation works

• The Longhorns. Have a seat on one of our Saddle Broke Longhorns for a photo op

• Prehistoric nomadic Indian sites

• Buffalo jump

• Knibbe Knoll with panoramic views of the spectacular Texas Hill Country and wildlife viewing

 Transportation, tour, and full Texas BBQ lunch included in your ticket.

Official opening of the conference is at 1:00 p.m.

On Wednesday & Thursday afternoons DPC Task Forces will meet and attendees will discuss industry needs, write/review existing Guidelines and decide what additional Guidelines would be most useful.

Wednesday evening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. a Networking Reception with Cash Bar will be held where participants can visit with our vendor sponsors and each other to catch up on new technologies, product offerings and changes in the industry.

Thursday Nov. 6th will kick-off with our keynote speaker -

Kyndra Brown - 4th Generation Dairy Farmer - Moo View Dairy, Dublin Texas

Brown uses social media to connect with viewers directly, offering an inside look at the work that goes into producing dairy products, from animal care and sustainability practices to daily life on the farm. With dairy farming being Kyndra’s passion, her intention is to provide a mix of education and entertainment, hoping to help enlighten a consumer base that has become disconnected from its food source.

During lunch on Thursday, the Annual Business Meeting will be held where we will celebrate the accomplishments of 2026, share the vision for 2027, and honor our volunteers through the Eugene T. Wolff Award, Guideline Author Acknowledgments and Honorary Lifetime Membership Inductees.
