UPCOMING CONFERENCE

PRELIMINARIES FOR UPCOMING CONFERENCE

The Conference will be held on November 5, 6, 7 2008 at the Kellogg Center in East Lansing, Michigan. The Conference Registration Packet will be mailed by the first week of September 2008. If you are not currently on our mailing list and wish to receive a registration packet, please contact the DPC office.

CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

The Council holds a three-day conference each fall (on Wednesday through Friday of election week in November) to allow all Task Forces to meet simultaneously and to provide a forum where topics of common interest can be shared with the membership and other attendees. General sessions are held Thursday and Friday mornings and feature a formal program with the most qualified speakers covering topics of interest and significance to the dairy industry. Task Force work sessions are held Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. You may attend any Task Force session or move from one to another while they are in session to accommodate the subject matter of your interest. These Task Force sessions give you the opportunity to exchange knowledge with others, get involved on a subcommittee for guideline development, suggest a topic for a new guideline or just listen and absorb.
