This guideline, originally prepared by university veterinarians, covers procedures for the control and eradication of brucellosis in dairy cattle. It also gives the causative organisms, human symptoms, source of infection, and preventive measures for the following milkborne diseases that affect humans: campylobacteriosis, listeriosis, salmonellosis, tuberculosis, and yersiniosis.
